This seminar builds on Part 1 - Design Fundamentals by providing attendees with an understanding of how to make post-tensioning designs, using unbonded single strand tendons, a reality. Industry best practices and code requirements for contract documents, preconstruction phase and construction phase of post-tensioned concrete building structures will be discussed.
This Seminar is designed for individuals with little or no experience in post-tensioning design documentation and construction, or anyone interested in learning more about post-tensioning design documentation and construction.
Highlights of the course include:
- Contract Documents: Industry best practices and code requirements for general notes, drawings, details, and specifications.
- Preconstruction: Key submittals and coordination prior to construction that help reduce errors in the field and ensure that designs are constructed in accordance with the contract documents.
- Construction: Roles and responsibilities of the engineer, contractor, and post-tensioning supplier. Best practices for tendon installation, observation and inspection, stressing, finishing, and troubleshooting issues in the field.
Continuing Education Credit: A half-day webinar (4 PDH/0.4 CEU credits)
Approved RCEP and AIA Access Period: 30 days
Terms & Conditions: To view, go to the Design Webinar Terms and Conditions on the right-hand side of the web page.
